The direct mail piece for the 2024 Season was again a double parallel fold brochure featuring all the show design concepts as well as information about subscription packages and order forms. This time the brochure design was not intended to be the final designs for the posters. We had an even shorter turnaround time for this piece, and there were other complications along the way, including losing the rights to one of the plays. Working on the fly to create as cohesive of a design as possible while still telling the story of each show was the challenge here.
Without time to create a fully fleshed out design concept, it became important to balance colors, size and weight of typefaces, and negative space to create a balanced layout. I think the most successful parts of this particular brochure are the cover image and typography as well as that color balance.
