During the Covid-19 pandemic, all in-person events were not possible. Knowing that patrons were growing weary of online events and wanting to create a more engaging experience for them, the development team and I came up with the idea of a “gala-in-a-box.”

We decided since patrons and donors couldn’t come to us for a gala, we would deliver the party to them. I designed the box to evoke the feeling of a formal evening. All the items inside the box were carefully selected by the development team, including a journal for which I designed the cover, and lots of treats and surprises.

The boxes were a delight to all who received one, and the fundraiser was a success!
